How can I get rid of faint red marks on my cheeks from previous spots?

I don't get the spots anymore but I have red scars where they were. I have just started exfoliating once a week which looks like it's helping but I wondered if there is anything else I can do.

Thankyou! How can I get rid of faint red marks on my cheeks from previous spots?
avon anew clinical advanced dermabrasion system.

Have any of you girls ever used the green concealer stick that is supposed to conceal reddish tone spots?

I've tried a yellow concealer stick before (conceals any bluish tones, like under your eyes) and I was wondering if the green kind actually makes any difference, or shows up green.Have any of you girls ever used the green concealer stick that is supposed to conceal reddish tone spots?
It probably works. I've got some greenish correction powder i use to use before I got fulltime on smokymountainminerals %26amp; got the red out of my face/complexion. There's a primer in some that's greenish too %26amp; it should work like mine did.Not very expensive at all.Have any of you girls ever used the green concealer stick that is supposed to conceal reddish tone spots?
It does show up green.

VERY green.

And, actually, in my experience, and in makeup artists' experience as well, coloured concealers should not be used. Period. It shows up as the colour, and then over top you put skin coloured foundation. Do you really think no one can't notice that random 'cake' of colours you have? You may be trying to cover a blemish up, but instead, you've highlighted it and made it more unsightly.

Sure, green get's rid of the red.

... but now you have green.
No, don't use it. It just makes you look like you have a greenish cast to your face no matter how carefully and evenly you try putting it on. But I guess you will want to try it and see for yourself.

I wish I knew what to use too. I find that even regular concealer doesn't quite look right on reddish skin. That's why when I can afford to someday, I want to just get laser treatment to get rid of the redness for good.
Hi. I haven't tried it yet, but I was at a skin care party last week and the consultant said it really does work. She didn't happen to have any on her to try, but she assured my friend it does work. I know the consultant and she's not a pushy, in it for the sales type person. I would give it a try if I were you.
the green concealer is meant to be used under a foundation type makeup, For non makeup coverage, try the skin toned concealers.
Yeah, I just bought some recently (I think it was Eucerin brand) and it actually works. It doesn't make you green - it blends in and diminishes the redness.
its amazing. i really like it. go cheap and get the NYC kind it's a whole foundation kit and it works really well

How come when I shave my thighs I have little spots all over my legs?

I also get scabs. Is it because I'm shaving too hard to something because I use a new razor? How come when I shave my thighs I have little spots all over my legs?
Well, you do need to change your razor often. But you're not shaving wet enough. If it's too dry at all, you get razor burn. You need to wet your skin, apply the shave gel, and make sure your razor is dripping wet when it touches your skin. Only shave a couple strokes and rinse, etc. etc. Also lotion your legs after you get out of the shower. How come when I shave my thighs I have little spots all over my legs?
That's razor burn, hun.

It could be from a number of things. That area isn't used to being shaved, could be sensitive, you didn't use enough cream or gel to lubricate the surface, or you had goosebumps.

That's what usually gives me razor burn.
you may be allergic to the metal the razor is made from or you could be allergic to something in the shaving cream. Use Nair it works and is less time consuming plus it takes longer for your hair to grow back.
I have the same problem, but its just on the back side of my thighs. I have found that using mens razors and shaving with baby oil instead of shaving cream works well.
probably both

use a men's razor they're sharper and work alot better

also use lots of shaving cream, get a moisturizing one
is way much better when you shave with warm water, cold just makes your skin like chicken and you are pretty much scratching those bumps, so with warm water you relax your skin

I had dark circles and bags under the eyes, but they have vanished since I started using a new product, which has now been featured in Vogue Magazine.

Within 3 days of using the product the dark circles have gone, and my skin is blemish free. It's even firmed up my skin, and the small wrinkles around my eyes, through age, and continued sun exposure, have almost disappeared.

I am a beauty therapist by trade and have tried a lot of different products over the years some have not worked at all, some have been good, but this product is amazing, and gives very fast results. I am not surprised it was awarded Best Skincare Product 2008!

If you're quick you may still be able to get a free sample. I've included the link.

Any home remedies to remove them? How to remove spots from scratching pimples?
I would just exfoliate and leave it alone. They'll go away soon.

I use alcohol on them,it works for me.How to remove spots from scratching pimples?
Lemon juice. Get a lemon slice, squeeze out the juice, and apply it to your discoloration overnight. I don't think you'll see a significant improvement after one application, so do it consistently every night. Also, don't forget to put on sunscreen when you go out. The sun exposure can make your spots turn darker.
well, you can go for using cucumber juice on the spots everyday. ripe papaya helps in pigmentation. u can try that also. do u know NEEM? if you do, then make the paste of neem leaves and use it on the spot. neem also helps in reducing pimples. it may dry out ur skin but eventually ur spots will go away. don't worry, ur skin will not get dry permanently. be patient to see the effect. home remedies take time. wait for a month or two. and please, next time don't scratch your pimples. or else spots will get permanent. i hope it helps.
They're scars, and don't really go away.

I would just not pick at them, or exfoliate a lot and wait for them to go away.
Dont pick at them it causes acne to spread.

How do you get rid of black heads and spots?

I have loads of blackheads and spots, they cover my face everywhere. Ihave tried lots of stuff to get rid of them but they dont work. Do you know any good productsHow do you get rid of black heads and spots?
I have whiteheads, and i saw a site that said use benzoil peroxide. I wash with Neutrogena Acne soap, with salylic acid, rinse, dry, then add a liberal amount of benzoil peroxide on them. It seems to help...let me find the link..you can try the steps and see if it helps you. Here are a few...Good Luck! How do you get rid of black heads and spots?
You are very welcome. Hopefully it helps! Report Abuse

Go to the dermotologist - or try this stuff called MD Forte III, Very good and my derm gave it to me. It is a little expensive but it really works. Wash you face with it and leave it on for a minute or two then rinse.
For blackheads use Clear'n'Clear Blackhead remover, and for spots use a scar remover or skin bleaching cream (which will only lighten marks -not turn you into Micheal Jackson). Good places to look for cheaper products is Wal-Mart, or similar stores. Other more expensive places can be found in your local mall at Dillards, Macy's, Marshall Fields, etc.
Try a laser face peel for the spots or use a oatmeal based face soap. Oatmeal is good for your skin. For the black heads.. why dont you try squeezing the blackheads out?
    I hear Proactiv really works
I used to have some bad acne too, and lot's of blackheads but when I tried these they went away. I have this one great cleanser that gets rid of blackheads and white heads. It's called Clean %26amp; Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent. I used and in like 4-5 days my acne just cleared up. As for spots use AVON Clearskin Targeted Blemish Remover. Put some on overnight and they just dissapear.
I would first say visit a dermotologist and have them removed. Second try using seabreeze on your skin.
mix a small amount of baking soda and warm water, soak a cotton, put it on your face, wait 10-15 min. and wash it off, it will squeeze out easier, also do facials monthly, to avoid them.works like a charm
Have you tried using Biore? Before you take a shower or wash your face use a cleansing pad to get rid of the oil, dirt, and makeup. Then use Apricot scrub by St. Ives and exfoliate your skin. Do not scrub your face or else b/c that will make things worse. Then after you scrub your face use a biore strip, or a one minute black head removal by Sally Hansen. It also comes with a small brush so that you can brush out the black heads. It is not going to clear up in a day or two, but if you use this method everyday then you should be able to see results in about one week.
biore has this blackhead clenser thing that you stick onyo your nose or face and wait and then pull it off. It cleans out the pores and makes them look smaller. They come in nose strips or nose and face strips. Only like 6 dollars. (Go to Walmart)
use egg whites as maskes...cleans out in 2 weeks
    Squeeze them.
Nutrogena is good because it gets rid of black heads!!!. Or ask a dematologist.

How to get rid of those red marks after spots?

I've just come off my period, my spots have cleared but im left with red marks. I have something important to go to on Thursday how do i get rid of them by then! How to get rid of those red marks after spots?
What you are referring to is minor acne scars. The best bet for getting rid of them is to exfoliate your skin and then moisturize it after to help it heal. If the marks are more pronounced then using something like an acid peel is a good idea.

I recommend the Zenmed scar treatment kit, but there are a lot of options when it comes to clearing your skin from scars or hyper pigmentation. How to get rid of those red marks after spots?
They will heal faster if you keep them (the spots) moisturized. Vitamin e works really well, a vitamin c cream also lightens skin. If it isn't gone use a GREEN concealer, it counteracts the redness, then set will a skin tone shade of powder.

Maybaline has an inexpensive green concealer that works really well. If you apply it with a concealer brush you will get better results.
