How do you get rid of the little white spots called milia?

I have little white spots on my face, just under my eyes, i found out the name of them, could they be milia? And how can i get rid of them? How do you get rid of the little white spots called milia?
Milia are like little grains of rice under the skin and can only be removed professionally by a beauty salon. They are caused by using creams that are too heavy for the delicate (much thinner) eye area e.g cleansers, moisturiser used too near the eye, or eye creams themselves that are not the right texture for your skin. So when you get them removed, be very careful about what you apply to your eyes. How do you get rid of the little white spots called milia?
i've had these before and i went to a reputable beauty therapist and had them removed. they prick the milia with a needle and then sweeze the white stuff out (sebum). it does hurt a little, but its worth it. regular exfoilation and use of a good cream should prevent any more but you may still get them as your skin may be prone to them. if they are too close to the eye they may not touch them - you'll have to ask. dont try doing it yourself though cos you'll make a right mess of your face and may scar it. just ring round salons asking if they do milia or whitehead removal.
I have them as well.If they are under your eyes it is very likely they are milia. If they are small a good way to break up the fatty deposits(thats what they are BTW) is to ue a gentle exfoliator every day.

If they are bigger a trained beautician can pop em for you.

Dont do what I did and stick a pin in them--Leaves you with scars

Good luck!!
Sue has it all right, they are cause by using heavy face cream around your eyes, I had one on my eyelid, i kept messing with it and now have a scar, i found two more and had them removed at my local salon. Cheap and painless..
I work at a beauty salon - please please don't have a go at them yourself - it needs to be done safely, hygienically and by soemone who knows how not to cause scarring.
