How do you stop getting the rash/spots on the sides of your mouth when shaving?

I found it best to shave when i'm actually in the shower because of the steam etc. I cant get a close shave without getting a number of spots on either side of my mouth at my chin? Its really annoying. How do you stop this and still get the closest shave possible? How do you stop getting the rash/spots on the sides of your mouth when shaving?
trust me mate i use a little baby oil it works for meHow do you stop getting the rash/spots on the sides of your mouth when shaving?
I'd look in to other shaving creams.

Some are designed specifically for sensitive skin and lower the risk of rash.

I know exactly what you're talking about though I get that **** sometimes.. then you look like a 6 year old kid that cant eat neatly and got stuff left on your mouth haha
Apparently regular conditioner applied shortly before shaving works. It softens the hair and the area surrounding it. I can't obviously vouch for it personally, but I had an ex boyfriend who swore by it!
use a new razor as much as possible... and don't push too hard... Pushing too hard will actually scratch your skin.. read ';strawberry'; on your face... that what those spots are...

Go easy on your skin...you don't actually have to puch that to get a close shave...

Do you use shaving cream? gel or foam? Tyr using the gel also because it encourages you to ';massage'; your face which helps your hairs stand up...
Are you using an after shave skin conditioner? Try one.
Try using 'oil of ulay' before shaving
Also be sure to use sharp blades. Dull blades cause rashes.
Use shaving oil after steaming your face for a few minutes, then moisturise afterwards.
Are you shaving too hard? Using shaving cream? If you are using shaving cream may be try another brand?
lotion
Get yourself a new razor. Those red spots your referring to are caused by blunt blades :)
my husband uses nivea moisturiser for men - it quiet cheap and works a treat !!!
you're on the right track shaving in the shower. But, if you shave just after a nice warm or hot shower the steam will do it. Shave after the shower and use sensitive skin shaving foam. Wash away the excess foam after ward with cold water. That will close the pores and presto! No more razor burn around your mouth or on your neck.
